Vision test standard

The standard of normal vision is usually above 1.0.

Vision is the ability of the retina of the human eye to distinguish the minimum distance between two points. In childhood, with the growth of age, vision will gradually increase. After puberty, vision will gradually develop and become stable. If it can reach or exceed 1.0, it generally indicates normal vision. For adults, if the vision is less than 1.0, it means that the vision is low. It should be considered related to eye refractive errors such as myopia and astigmatism, as well as eye diseases such as glaucoma, cataract and macular degeneration
