Hyphema is a common symptom of eye damage.
Hyphema is usually caused by increased scleral vascular permeability and rupture of peripheral capillaries. It is mostly related to ocular trauma, scleritis, iatrogenic injury, iris microaneurysm and other factors. It can cause a large amount of exudation of blood to accumulate in the posterior cornea, scleral anterior chamber and the gap between lenses, thus causing the above lesions. Clinical manifestations are blood accumulation in the anterior chamber as liquid level, anterior chamber filled with blood as black, etc. Part of the patients combined with glaucoma, but also cause nausea, vomiting, eye pain, tears and other symptoms.
