What does menarche mean?

Your health, my commitment.
Menarche is the first menstrual cycle in a woman's life, marking the changes in puberty and the beginning of sexual maturity. Menarche
is an important sign of puberty, indicating that ovarian function gradually matures, with ovulation and synthesis of estrogen and progesterone. Menarche also represents the beginning of endometrial development stimulated by estrogen, and the opening of the uterine to the cervix and vagina. Menarche is usually between 11 and 16 years old, but due to genetic, developmental, nutritional status and other factors, different women's menarche time may vary.
It should be noted that if a woman's menstrual cycle is too long or too short, menorrhagia or too little after menarche, she should seek medical examination and receive professional treatment.
