Systemic lupus erythematosus has a few stages

Restoring balance, one patient at a time.
Systemic lupus erythematosus
(SLE) is a complex autoimmune disease with highly variable clinical manifestations and disease progression. Patients can develop rash, joint pain, fever, fatigue, kidney damage, cardiopulmonary involvement and other symptoms. The combination and severity of symptoms vary from patient to patient.
The disease may be relatively stable for a period of time, and then may suddenly worsen or develop new symptoms. Even patients diagnosed with SLE may vary greatly in the speed of disease progression and organ involvement.
Because of these characteristics, it is difficult to accurately describe the disease stage with simple stages. Clinically, more emphasis is placed on comprehensively assessing the activity and severity of the disease according to the specific symptoms, signs, laboratory results, etc. of the patient, and formulating individualized treatment plans. For systemic lupus erythematosus patients, long-term follow-up and management, close monitoring of disease changes, timely adjustment of treatment measures, in order to improve the quality of life of patients, prevention and reduction of serious complications.
