Is cervical vinegar white positive a lesion?

Building a healthier future, together.
Vinegar
white test is only a screening method. It is judged preliminarily by observing the changes of cervical epithelium after applying acetic acid, but a positive result does not absolutely mean that there is a lesion. Some non-pathological conditions, such as inflammation, local stimulation, etc., may also lead to vinegar white positive reaction. Therefore, patients cannot rely solely on vinegar white test to confirm the diagnosis. Further cervical cytology, HPV testing, colposcopy and biopsy are needed to determine whether there is a real cervical lesion and the specific nature and extent of the lesion. A positive
cervical vinegar white cannot be simply equated with a lesion. A series of comprehensive examinations and professional evaluations are needed to determine the specific situation in order to formulate an appropriate treatment plan.
