How to check adult ascariasis

Adult ascariasis can be examined by physical examination, laboratory examination, imaging examination and other methods.

1. Physical examination

ascariasis can lead to malnutrition in patients, yellow complexion, listlessness, facial white spots and other manifestations, so if the above symptoms occur, abdominal tenderness and abdominal muscle tension are found in physical examination, it may indicate ascariasis.

2. Laboratory examination

through stool smear examination, if ascariasis eggs and larvae are found in them, it indicates the existence of ascariasis.

3. Imaging examination

Ultrasound examination, X-ray and other imaging examinations can observe organ changes, and then show whether there are worms in the organs.
