How is reflux gastritis caused after surgery

Guiding you with care, every step of the way.
Reflux gastritis after surgery may be related to decreased pyloric defense ability, duodenal reflux, gastrointestinal motility changes and other reasons.
1. Reduced pyloric defense ability
If the pyloric sphincter is damaged during surgery, resulting in abnormal structure, it may cause pyloric defense bile reflux mechanism disorder, resulting in bile reflux to the stomach, esophagus and other parts, resulting in reflux gastritis.
2. Duodenal reflux
When the patient eats improperly after surgery, resulting in duodenal fluid reflux to the stomach, it may also cause damage to the gastric mucosa, resulting in reflux gastritis.
3. Gastrointestinal motility changes
After surgery, the gastrointestinal tract function of the patient is weak, and the intestinal motility is slow, which may lead to intestinal fluid and bile reflux to the stomach, resulting in reflux gastritis.
