Symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease in six-month-old infants

Building a healthier future, together.
The symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease in infants of six months include chest pain, heartburn, etc., and other accompanying symptoms may occur.
1. Chest pain
causes irritation to the esophagus due to reflux of stomach contents to the esophagus, causing retrosternal pain. If the pain is more severe, it can also radiate to the precordial area, back and other parts.
2. Heartburn When
stomach contents reflux to the esophagus, it can also cause a burning sensation behind the sternum, i.e. heartburn.
3. Accompanying symptoms
When gastroesophageal reflux disease in infants is more severe, stomach contents can also stimulate organs other than the esophagus, and corresponding symptoms may occur, such as throat irritation, which may cause throat discomfort, and trachea irritation, which may cause cough.
