Guiding you to a healthier tomorrow.
Pseudomembranous enteritis generally refers to pseudomembranous enteritis. The causes of pseudomembranous enteritis include long-term use of antibiotics, long-term use of immunosuppressants, and the existence of underlying diseases.
1. Long-term use of antibiotics,
including amoxicillin, cefixime, and roxithromycin, can destroy intestinal flora, resulting in intestinal flora imbalance, causing rapid reproduction of Clostridium difficile and production of a large number of toxins, thereby causing pathological changes.
2. Long-term use of immunosuppressants,
including prednisone, dexamethasone, tripterygium glycosides, and azathioprine, can reduce immunity of the body, leading to the breeding of harmful bacteria, thus causing related abnormalities.
3. The existence of underlying diseases such
as colon disease, malnutrition, and renal failure, etc., can destroy the gastrointestinal environment, reduce immunity of the body, and easily cause pseudomembranous enteritis.
