How to distinguish between abdominal pain and intestinal spasm in children

Children's abdominal pain may be caused by indigestion, gastritis and other diseases, and intestinal spasm can be distinguished by observing the pain site, observing the duration, and determining the nature of the pain.
1. Observe the pain site. Abdominal pain
caused by indigestion and gastritis is mostly upper abdominal pain, and abdominal pain caused by intestinal spasm is mainly umbilical and lower abdomen.
2. Observe the duration. Abdominal
pain caused by indigestion can last for about 1-2 days. Acute gastritis abdominal pain can last for several days, and chronic gastritis abdominal pain can last for about 1 month or longer.
3. Determine the nature of pain. Abdominal pain
caused by indigestion is mostly dull pain, swelling pain caused by gastritis is mostly burning pain, and abdominal pain caused by intestinal spasm is mostly colic.
