What causes chronic superficial gastritis with erosion

Passionate about your health journey.
Chronic superficial gastritis with erosion may be caused by digestive juice reflux, long-term drug use, infection with Helicobacter pylori, etc.
1. Digestive juice reflux
If a large amount of digestive juice such as bile, pancreatic juice or intestinal juice enters the stomach, it can cause damage to the gastric mucosa, thus causing chronic superficial gastritis with erosion.
2. Long-term drug use
If the patient takes ibuprofen, aspirin, celecoxib and other drugs for a long time, the drug stimulates the gastric mucosa and causes damage.
3. Infection with Helicobacter pylori
If the patient's gastrointestinal mucosa is infected with Helicobacter pylori, the pathogen invades the gastric mucosa and causes inflammation, which can cause chronic superficial gastritis. If the disease cannot be relieved for a long time, it can lead to gastric erosion.
