Dedicated to your healing journey.
Chronic gastritis accompanied by bad breath can be treated by general treatment, drug treatment or surgical treatment.
1. Patients with general treatment
should actively adjust their diet and lifestyle, focusing on light, digestible, healthy and nutritious foods. At the same time, they should also quit smoking and limit alcohol. Avoid drinking coffee or strong tea, otherwise the condition may worsen.
2. Drug treatment of
chronic gastritis is often complicated with Helicobacter pylori infection. Patients should be treated with quadruple therapy. Commonly used drugs include metronidazole, clarithromycin, pantoprazole, bismuth pectin, etc. After the infection is controlled, bad breath will gradually disappear.
3. Surgical treatment
If the condition of chronic gastritis worsens and high-level intraepithelial neoplasia that cannot be reversed by drugs has occurred, submucosal dissection or mucosal resection can be performed under gastroscope.
