How to check pancreatic function

Your health is my mission, your recovery is my joy.
Pancreatic function can be examined by blood test, stool test, imaging examination, etc.
1. Blood test
can detect pancreatic related indicators by taking blood samples, such as insulin, trypsin, blood sugar, etc. Abnormal changes in these indicators can reflect abnormal pancreatic function.
2. Stool test
can assess whether pancreatic digestive function is normal or not by detecting trypsin and fat content in feces. Pancreatin will decrease when pancreatic secretion is insufficient, while increased fat content may indicate insufficient lipase secreted by pancreas.
3. Imaging examination
can observe the morphology, size, structure, etc. of pancreas by ultrasound, CT scan, MRI and other imaging methods to determine whether there are masses, cysts or other abnormalities in pancreas.
