Heartburn is a precursor to what?

Your health is my mission, your recovery is my joy.
Heartburn may be a precursor to gastroesophageal reflux, esophageal ulcer, peptic ulcer and other diseases.
1. Gastroesophageal
reflux refers to the reflux of gastric contents to the esophagus and above, which may cause irritation and damage to the esophageal mucosa, resulting in heartburn symptoms.
2. Esophageal ulcer
Esophageal ulcer is an ulcer that occurs in the lower esophagus near the cardia. It may be related to infection, chemical damage and other factors. Because the mucosal barrier is destroyed, it is more susceptible to acid stimulation, resulting in heartburn.
3. Peptic ulcer
such as gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, easy to be stimulated by acid, or affect food digestion, leading to gastric content reflux, causing heartburn.
