Why do you get appendicitis?

Because appendix mucosa is damaged, bacteria invade the wall of the tube and cause infection, which can lead to appendicitis; also because appendix lumen is blocked, the internal pressure increases when the secretion accumulates, which causes blood circulation disorder at the distal side of appendix, which leads to appendicitis.
