A few days before and after a woman's period is a safe period

Healing hearts, one patient at a time.
For women with normal menstrual cycles, the cycle is generally 28 to 30 days, and ovulation occurs 14 days before the next menstrual cycle. According to the ovaries, the eggs can survive for one to two days after ovulation. The most fertile time is within 24 hours after ovulation, and sperm can survive for two to three days after entering the female reproductive tract. Therefore, from a physiological point of view, four to five days before and after ovulation belong to the fertile period. However, it should be noted that ovulation can be delayed or accelerated by life emotions, sexual activity, health status and external environment, and extra ovulation may even occur. Therefore, safe contraception is not safe.
