Can menstrual dysmenorrhea take painkillers?

Dysmenorrhea is divided into primary dysmenorrhea and secondary dysmenorrhea. Secondary dysmenorrhea is caused by uterine fibroids, endometriosis and other diseases. It needs to be treated after finding out the cause; if it is primary dysmenorrhea, painkillers can be taken. Primary dysmenorrhea is caused by uterine smooth muscle spasm caused by uterine secretion of prostaglandin. Most painkillers contain prostaglandin inhibiting components.
