Although it can observe pelvic organs, it usually cannot directly observe the internal conditions of the fallopian tubes. Although in some cases, vaginal ultrasound may provide some information about the status of the fallopian tubes, such as hydrosalpinx, such information is not sufficient to determine the patency of the fallopian tubes. Currently, only tests such as salpingography and tubal catheterization can determine whether the fallopian tubes are patency.
