How to treat amoebic liver abscess

Amoebic liver abscess can be relieved by general treatment, drug treatment, surgical treatment and other methods.

1. General treatment

2. Drug treatment

patients can use anti-amoebic drugs, such as metronidazole tablets, tinidazole capsules, chloroquine phosphate tablets, etc., to kill pathogens in the body and improve clinical symptoms.

3. Surgical treatment

If drug treatment is ineffective or abscess volume exceeds 6cm, liver puncture drainage can be used to drain excess pus and improve the condition.
