Cervical cancer tumor marker testing

There are many tumor markers for cervical cancer, but only the following items are commonly selected, including CA125, carcinoembryonic antigen, cervical cancer associated antigen (TA4), cytokeratin fragment 211 (CYFRA211) and SCC. SCC is a special marker of cervical cancer, which is often used to detect the prognosis of cervical squamous cell carcinoma after treatment and whether there is recurrence. Most patients with cervical cancer will show abnormal elevation when detecting CA125, cervical cancer associated antigen and SCC, especially in squamous cell carcinoma. However, for cervical adenocarcinoma, these tumor markers were not obvious, low specificity and insignificant.
