Treatment of malignant melanoma of vulva

Empathy in every care, excellence in every treatment.
Malignant melanoma of vulva is a rare malignant tumor of vulva, but the degree of malignancy is high, and the 5-year survival rate is only 36%-54%. The treatment method is mainly based on the depth of tumor invasion and the extent of growth and diffusion, and the appropriate surgery is selected. Early low-risk patients can choose local extended resection, that is, resection of 2-3 cm of the periphery of the lesion. Advanced or high-risk patients should choose extensive vulvar resection and inguinal lymph node resection. Immunotherapy is the first choice of adjuvant therapy after surgery, interferon alpha and interleukin-2 can be selected, while chemotherapy is generally palliative or comprehensive treatment of patients.
