The full name of 13-valent pneumonia vaccine is 13-valent pneumococcal polysaccharide conjugate vaccine, which can cover 13 serotypes of Streptococcus pneumoniae and prevent 13 serotypes of Streptococcus pneumoniae infection. It is suitable for infants aged 6 weeks to 15 months. The recommended routine immunization program is one dose of basic immunization at the age of 2, 4 and 6 months, and one dose of booster immunization at the age of 12 and 15 months. The first dose of basic immunity can be given as early as 6 weeks old, and the interval between doses is 4-8 weeks. It should be noted that this product only has preventive protection against pneumococcal serotypes contained in this vaccine, and cannot prevent invasive diseases caused by serotypes other than this product, and invasive diseases caused by other microorganisms, such as pneumonia or otitis media.
