The causes of peripheral facial paralysis are mainly divided into basic causes and inducing factors.
1. The basic causes of
idiopathic facial paralysis, trauma, infection, tumor, autoimmune diseases, systemic diseases and cerebrovascular diseases are easy to cause peripheral facial paralysis.
2. The inducing factors are
cold, cool wind invasion and virus infection, which can easily lead to local nerve nutritional vasospasm, causing nerve ischemia and edema, thus inducing idiopathic facial paralysis to appear peripheral facial paralysis.
