How long does tuberculosis fever last?

Restoring balance, one patient at a time.
TB patients after standard anti-tuberculosis treatment, the patient's temperature may gradually drop, but compared with ordinary pneumonia, TB patients temperature drop is relatively slow, may take two weeks or longer. For tuberculosis this disease, due to tuberculosis mycobacterium infection caused by pulmonary inflammatory lesions, tuberculosis is different from ordinary pneumonia, often manifested as a chronic infection, after treatment recovery is relatively slow. Even with standard anti-TB treatment, sometimes it takes about two weeks for the temperature to drop significantly, or even to be relieved. Sometimes the temperature drops more slowly, or even as long as a month or more, before the temperature can gradually return to normal.
