Indications for Cardiac Pacemakers

Guiding you with care, every step of the way.
The indications for installation of cardiac pacemaker include atrioventricular block, atrial fibrillation, cardiac arrest, etc. The specific analysis is as follows:
1. atrioventricular block
If the patient suffers from atrioventricular block, the ventricular rate is often lower than 50 beats/min, thus affecting cardiac function, chest distress, dizziness, palpitations, etc., cardiac pacemaker can be considered for installation.
2. atrial fibrillation
If the patient has asymptomatic atrial fibrillation under conscious state and has RR interval of up to 5 seconds, cardiac pacemaker can be considered for installation.
3. cardiac arrest
If carotid sinus stimulation occurs, compression induction leads to cardiac arrest>3 seconds, and repeated syncope exists, cardiac pacemaker can be installed for treatment.
