What is the main function of the heart in the human body?

Dedicated to your healing journey.
The main function of the heart in the human body is to provide power for blood flow and transport blood to various parts of the body.
Usually, the heart is located at the lower left of the middle of the chest. It is a power organ for blood transportation. It provides sufficient blood flow to organs and tissues to supply nutrients such as oxygen and water, inorganic salts, glucose, protein, etc., and removes metabolic end products such as carbon dioxide, urea, uric acid, etc. to help maintain normal metabolism and function of the body.
It is recommended that patients maintain their heart through good living habits such as weight control, abstinence from smoking and alcohol, reasonable diet, and appropriate exercise.
