What is an adrenal tumor?

Adrenal adenoma is a tumor of adrenal tissue. It can be benign or malignant. Adrenal adenoma is often referred to as benign adrenal adenoma. Adrenal adenoma smaller than 2 cm and without clinical symptoms may not be treated. Adrenal adenoma larger than 2 cm or adrenal adenoma smaller than 2 cm but with obvious clinical symptoms should be treated surgically.
