Healing hearts, one patient at a time.

adults at rest, normal systolic pressure is 90-139mmHg and diastolic pressure is 60-89mmHg. Systolic pressure 97mmHg and diastolic pressure 54mmHg are not within this range, so they are considered abnormal, indicating diastolic depression, which may be related to infection, allergy, iron deficiency anemia, hypothyroidism, adrenal insufficiency, congenital heart disease and other factors.
Normal pulse of adults is 60-100 beats/min, pulse 73 beats/min is within this range, so they are considered normal. No special treatment is required, and there is no need to worry too much.
