What does Heart LCX mean?

Restoring health, one step at a time.
Lcx is the left circumflex artery of the heart, one of the three main branches of the coronary artery of the heart. The
left circumflex artery is mainly responsible for the blood supply to the left ventricle of the heart. It is located on the left side of the heart and is shaped like a "C". Stenosis or obstruction of the left circumflex artery may lead to serious cardiovascular events such as myocardial ischemia and myocardial infarction. If there is a lesion in the left circumflex artery, doctors may recommend coronary angiography for further diagnosis and treatment.
It is recommended to adjust diet and choose foods with low salt, low fat and low cholesterol as much as possible to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.
