Heart coronary artery blockage must do bypass surgery?

Bypass surgery is not necessary for a blocked coronary artery.

A blocked coronary artery is a serious cardiovascular disease that can lead to damage and necrosis of heart muscle cells. If the patient has less severe coronary artery blockage, percutaneous coronary intervention may be an option to improve blood supply to the heart, in which case bypass surgery is not necessary.

Patients should maintain a healthy diet after surgery and limit their intake of foods high in fat, cholesterol and salt. Increasing their intake of fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains can help promote recovery.
