What are the symptoms of a kidney tumor?

Empathy in every care, excellence in every treatment.
Renal tumors are divided into benign and malignant tumors. Benign renal tumors mainly include renal hamartoma, renal fibroma, renal adenoma, etc., which are often asymptomatic in clinical practice. Most of them are discovered accidentally by pyelography or ultrasound examination. A few patients may cause macroscopic hematuria or acute abdomen due to hemorrhage or rupture within the tumor, sometimes requiring emergency surgery. Renal malignant tumors are mainly renal cell carcinoma, about half of which are discovered during physical examination. The typical clinical symptoms of advanced renal cell carcinoma are hematuria, lumbago and abdominal mass. Some patients may present with paraneoplastic syndrome, such as hypertension, fever and increased erythrocyte sedimentation rate.
