How many beats per minute is a normal heartbeat?

Your health, my unwavering commitment.
Under normal circumstances, the human body beats 60 to 100 times a minute at rest. The number of heartbeats per minute is easily affected by many factors such as age, mood, exercise, etc., so there are differences between individuals.
Generally, adults with less than 60 heartbeats per minute at rest are called sinus bradycardia. In physiological conditions, sinus bradycardia can also be seen in pathological conditions such as hypothyroidism, sick sinus syndrome, atrioventricular block, etc.
If the heart beats more than 100 times per minute in adults, it is called sinus tachycardia. It is mainly caused by physiological factors such as strenuous exercise, emotional excitement, drinking strong tea or coffee; it may also be caused by fever, anemia, sepsis, shock, decompensated heart failure, etc.
