Panax notoginseng to remove vascular plaque

Sanqi is a common Chinese medicine in clinical practice. It has the effects of activating blood circulation, removing blood stasis, stopping bleeding, and relieving swelling and pain. Sanqi can dilate blood vessels, inhibit platelet aggregation, and reduce cholesterol content in the blood. It can effectively prevent new plaques from appearing in blood vessels. However, Sanqi cannot remove existing vascular plaques.
