Corns are conical keratinous hyperplasia formed due to long-term extrusion and friction of the skin of the sole. Corns generally do not heal themselves. They need to be removed by external application of salicylic acid patch or by freezing or laser. It is possible that the patient's feet are only simple keratinous hyperplasia, not corns.
