Mild symptoms, appropriate bed rest, elastic waist protection after getting out of bed; Patients with severe symptoms are given pain relievers and protected with braces. When pain is relieved, patients are encouraged to do abdominal exercises and continue to protect with elastic waistlines. For patients with persistent pain, surgery, such as sacroiliac arthrodesis, may be considered.
