The pathogenesis of renal vascular hypertension mainly includes basic causes and inducing factors.
1. Basic causes
Unilateral or bilateral renal artery trunk or branch stenosis can cause renal blood flow to decrease, causing ischemia, stimulating renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system related to blood pressure, resulting in vasoconstriction, water and sodium retention, oxidative stress, resulting in increased blood pressure and formation of renal vascular hypertension.
2. Predisposing factors
Smoking, hyperlipidemia, obesity and diabetes are easy to cause atherosclerosis, which can induce renal vascular hypertension.
