Is tinnitus a symptom of kidney yang deficiency?

Tinitus may be caused by deficiency of kidney yang, but it is not ruled out that it is caused by other reasons.
After the patient has deficiency of kidney yang, due to the decline of kidney yang, the ear orifices lose their warmth, resulting in tinnitus symptoms. However, other factors can also cause tinnitus, such as prolonged exposure to noisy environment, kidney yin deficiency, severe head and neck trauma, middle ear effusion, atherosclerosis, acoustic neuroma, etc. Therefore, tinnitus cannot be judged solely based on deficiency of kidney yang.
