AIDS vaccine available?

AIDS is a sexually transmitted disease characterized by severe immunodeficiency caused by HIV infection. At this stage, the treatment of AIDS is mainly anti-viral drug treatment, and AIDS vaccine has not been widely used clinically. Of course, in the laboratory, research on AIDS vaccine has not stopped. However, due to the complex structure of HIV and many subtypes, sometimes selecting 1-2 HIV antigens to make a vaccine is not enough to completely kill the HIV. The virus can still survive and infect human immune cells. Therefore, at this stage, AIDS vaccines are still in the research and development stage, and there is no AIDS vaccine in clinical use.
