Syphilitic primary manifestation

Syphilis is a systemic sexually transmitted disease caused by Treponema pallidum infection. After Treponema pallidum infection, after a normal incubation period of about 2-4 weeks, it will show the performance of primary syphilis, mainly in the invasion site of Treponema pallidum hard chancre. The characteristics of this lesion are good in the external genitals, such as male penis, glans, foreskin frenum, female labia, perineum and cervix. At the beginning, it was a small erythema, and then it quickly became painless papules and induration. Necrosis occurred on the surface to form ulcers. The normal boundary was clear, the edge edema was raised, the texture was hard, and it had strong infectivity. It could naturally subside without treatment for 3-4 weeks. In addition to hard chancre, often can also cause unilateral inguinal lymph node swelling, normal texture is hard, the surface will not be red, broken, may take a few months to subside, these are more common manifestations of primary syphilis.
