How much is hypertension grade 2?

Your health, my mission. Your recovery, my joy.
Grade 2 hypertension refers to a systolic blood pressure of 160-179mmHg and a diastolic blood pressure of 100-109mmHg.
A person's normal systolic blood pressure at rest is 90-139mmHg and diastolic blood pressure is 60-89mmHg. Three non-same-day systolic blood pressures ≥140mmHg and diastolic blood pressure ≥90mmHg can be diagnosed as hypertension. Generally, a systolic blood pressure of 140-159mmHg, and/or a diastolic blood pressure of 90-99mmHg is Grade 1 hypertension. A systolic blood pressure of 160-179mmHg, and/or a diastolic blood pressure of 100-109mmHg is Grade 2 hypertension. Systolic blood pressure ≥180mmHg and (or) diastolic blood pressure ≥110mmHg is grade 3 hypertension.
Patients with grade 2 hypertension need to be treated with antihypertensive drugs such as nifedipine, valsartan and hydrochlorothiazide under the guidance of a doctor. At ordinary times, they should maintain a stable mood, eat a low-salt diet, exercise moderately, and monitor their blood pressure regularly.
