What does electrocardiograph show left slant mean

Restoring health, one step at a time.
Left deviation here generally refers to the left deviation of the ECG axis. The ECG shows that the left deviation of the ECG axis indicates that the direction of the heart's electrical activity shifts to the left. The
ECG axis is an indicator in the ECG that reflects the direction and shape of the heart's electrical activity. Under normal circumstances, the ECG axis points to the lower left. If the ECG axis deviates to the left, it may be caused by obesity, complete left bundle branch block, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, aortic stenosis, etc.
Note that left deviation of the ECG axis does not mean the presence of heart disease. A comprehensive judgment based on other test results and clinical manifestations is also needed.
