You can be admitted to hospital for initial examination after two to four weeks of high-risk sexual life. If it is negative, the risk of syphilis infection is very small. If the syphilis test is still negative for eight weeks, syphilis infection can be ruled out. If it is positive, you can use penicillin treatment according to doctor's advice.
