Heart stent surgery can be done through the left wrist

A stent is usually inserted through the left wrist to

dilate a narrow blood vessel and open up blood flow. Traditional stenting is usually performed through a femoral artery cannula or through the left wrist. It is commonly referred to as transradial cardiac intervention. It is indicated for patients with skin infections in the groin area or other conditions affecting transfemoral surgery.
