Lumbar disc herniation pain is unbearable to seek pain relief methods

Lumbar disc herniation can be treated with massage, acupuncture, physiotherapy and traction. Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and muscle relaxants can be taken when the pain is severe. Glucocorticoids should be used when necessary. Local block therapy is not recommended. If conservative treatment fails for three months, surgery may be considered.
