How long does the endometrium return to normal after curettage?

Dedicated to your healing journey.
In general, curettage is to scrape out the functional layer of the endometrium and then perform pathological examination. If the basal layer of the endometrium is not damaged, the functional layer of the endometrium can return to normal after one month, that is, one menstrual cycle. However, if the endometrium shows problems, endometrial hyperplasia or polyp formation, whether the endometrium can return to normal or whether medical intervention is needed is not good. If the endometrium shows organic changes, especially endometrial hyperplasia or polyps, medical intervention is needed to prevent recurrence after curettage. If curettage is performed because of miscarriage, the endometrium usually returns to normal after one menstrual cycle.
