The fetal position is the cephalic position refers to the first part of the fetus to enter the maternal pelvic entrance is the fetal head, fetal position includes cephalic position, breech position and horizontal position. Cephalic position is also often referred to as head presentation, because the degree of fetal head flexion can be divided into occipital presentation, anterior fontanel presentation, frontal presentation and facial presentation. Occipital presentation is the most common cephalic delivery mode. Anterior fontanel presentation, frontal presentation and facial presentation are not vaginal delivery. The breech presentation can be divided into mixed breech presentation, that is, the breech and the foot enter the basin at the same time, and can also be divided into single breech presentation, that is, only the breech enters the basin, and single foot presentation, double foot presentation, that is, the foot of the foot fetus enters the basin. Occasionally, there will be compound presentation. The fetal head, breech, fetal hand or fetal foot enter the basin at the same time. Therefore, the head position is the most common natural birth position, but the head position is more common in occipital presentation, which is the fetal position that can be delivered naturally through the vagina.
