Causes of hypotension

Healing hearts, one patient at a time.
Hypotension is caused by changes in body position, pregnancy, eating, etc.
1. Changes in body position
When the body position changes, such as sudden standing, sudden change from static to dynamic, etc., the blood cannot be quickly supplied to the tissues and organs around the body, especially for the elderly and weak people.
2.
During pregnancy, in order to meet the nutritional supply of the fetus, the blood circulation system will rapidly expand, resulting in a decrease in the relative blood volume flowing through the blood vessels, which will reduce the pressure on the blood vessel wall, resulting in hypotension.
3.
After eating, in order to promote food digestion and absorption, through the body's self-regulation, a large amount of blood will be distributed to the gastrointestinal tract, resulting in a decrease in blood supply to the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular vessels, thus causing hypotension.
