Can 5-month-old baby get flu vaccine?

Influenza vaccine is recommended for infants over six months of age. Infants younger than six months of age are not suitable for influenza vaccination at present. Parents and other family members can be vaccinated to prevent influenza, which can reduce the chance of infection of babies. Influenza vaccine belongs to biological products. It can only prevent influenza after vaccination but not common cold. The vaccine can play a preventive effect 2~4 weeks after vaccination.
