How long does chicken pox take to isolate?

Chickenpox is an infectious disease caused by varicella-herpes virus infection. Chickenpox is infectious from 1~2 days before eruption to before the dry scab period of herpes. During this period, isolation treatment is required. Chickenpox can be transmitted by droplets. Patients can use acyclovir antiviral treatment within 24 hours of onset, which helps to shorten the course of chickenpox.
