Is cervical conization a minor operation painful?

Dedicated to your healing journey.
Cervical conization is a minor surgery. Spinal anesthesia or epidural anesthesia will be taken during the operation. Generally, it is not painful, but it should be noted that accidents occur. With the disappearance of anesthetics, there will be pain, but the pain is not obvious. Normally, it only lasts for about 3 days and can be relieved. Cervical conization refers to the removal of pathological tissues from the cervix. At present, the commonly used treatment techniques include cervical cold-knife conization and LEEP knife technique. Normally, circular incision is made at 0.5cm outside the lesion. According to the surgical situation, conical resection can be made 1-2cm deep, and the wound is packed with gauze. Compression can stop bleeding.
